Human Software (HSoftware): Latest Model for Effectiveness, Efficiency and Success

- The HSoftware model by Shyam Bhatawdekar defines four factors for effectiveness, efficiency and success of human beings in all walks of life; personal, professional, family and social.
- The HSoftware model works at the most fundamental levels of human mind. It presumes that the normal human beings do things twice, once in their minds and then in actual practice. Therefore, what’s in the minds dictates the behavior.
- HSoftware denotes the programming of human mind which is responsible for more correct thinking, more correct feeling and more correct doing.
- It is the more correct thinking, feeling and doing as compared to less correct thinking, feeling and doing that make a person more effective, efficient and successful. Also refer: (Success) http://success-achievement.blogspot.com/
- HSoftware is acquired by human beings and human beings can keep on improving upon it to become more and more effective, efficient and successful. That results in an on-going improvement in the way human beings think, feel and do things.
Four Elements of HSoftware
As per the HSoftware model of Shyam Bhatawdekar, following four elements determine the way human being shape up their thinking, feeling and doing:
- Values
- Knowledge base (rational, emotional and spiritual)
- Paradigms
- Will to do
- One can improve upon each one of these four elements by acquiring more correct values, by improving one’s knowledge in various areas, by correcting the paradigms and by becoming a better doer/action oriented person with stronger will power.
- All the four elements also interact with each other, have impacts on each other and provide resultant values of these elements on a constant basis. The resultant values may remain same even after interactions among the four elements or they may get marginally modified or dramatically changed or improved. These, then, are used by the human beings for their day-to-day behavior which in turn decides the effectiveness, efficiency and success in personal, professional, family and social life of human beings.
- Therefore, depending on the levels of these four factors, some people don’t do so well, some achieve mediocrity and some tend to reach excellence.
- The conscious application of the four factors is more useful than the sub-conscious application. The type of this conscious or sub-conscious application also is an outcome of quantity and quality of these four elements in the human beings.

Openness and Flexibility Most Important
- With the passage of time, changing environmental situations and host of other factors, need to upgrade the four elements e.g. values, knowledge base, paradigms and will to do is imperative for maintaining and improving the effectiveness and efficiency and therefore, the success.
- The pre-requisites for this kind of continual updating are: openness of mind and flexibility.
- It requires continual change. Therefore, resistance to change will be an impediment in upgrading of HSoftware.
- It should well be understood that this flexibility and openness also develop as the human beings improve upon the four elements: values, knowledge base, paradigms and will power.
